An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy technical team at Macclesfield District General Hospital.
This post holder will work within the dispensary processing inpatient, outpatient and discharge medication. Other duties will include managing owed items, managing and organising resuscitation boxes for the Trust and community clinics and dispensing controlled drugs to wards/departments and patients.
In addition the post would also work on various wards throughout the trust ordering medications for patients and stock as needed.
You will have an NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Services, or equivalent, and be registered as a qualified Pharmacy Technician with GPhC. We will consider applicants who are in the process of achieving this qualification.
Hours per week: 37.5
Full and Part time Hours will be considered.
