Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Chester CH1
£45,000 OTE (negotiable basic salary + uncapped commission)
ShortList Recruitment are on the lookout for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team, based in Chester city centre.
Since launching in 2013, we have steadily grown each year and now work with many of the leading employers in the North West, Midlands, London and Texas, USA. Our UK working hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday and our US hours are 1pm – 10pm, with a half day on Friday.
You will be expected to work on a 360 basis, finding new clients and areas to develop new relationships and spot opportunities for us to grow.

Key skills required for the Trainee Recruitment Consultant role:
- Resilient and goal driven individual with excellent stamina
- Proven record of growing a client portfolio
- Strong negotiating skills
- Proven track record of success in any sales industry
- Experience in providing an excellent level of service
- Must have solid sales experience, ideally grown in a business to business position
- The ability to identify and close business opportunities
- Able to work both independently and as part of a strong, supportive team
