Personal Assistants Wanted I am an elderly lady with Rheumatoid Arthritis who is mobile but needs some assistance. I live in Lindean near Selkirk. I’m looking for personal assistants (PA’s) to support me with every Monday for morning and teatime visits and every alternate weekend starting 7th & 8th October for morning and teatime visits too, thus enabling me to live in my own home whilst encouraging as much independence as possible. Main tasks and responsibilities Support with washing/showering/ dressing and personal care Support to prepare meals and drinks Ensure/prompt all correct medication has been taken Make sure Borders Care Alarm is worn Personal attributes Kind and empathetic Patient and outgoing Practical and a good communicator Trustworthy and reliable Hours of work(Flexible) Monday’s and alternate Weekends Morning around 10am for a 30 minute visit Teatime around 5pm for a 30 minute visit Hours can be shared between PA’s Times can be discussed with suitable candidates The terms £11.50 per hour 5.6 weeks annual leave on a pro rata basis PVG/References required
