Our Assistant Managers deputies, in the absence of the General Manager, and are responsible for the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring we are always set up for success, inclusive of business performance, standards of food, service, health & safety, and most importantly guest experience.

Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing the day to day running of the restaurant, fully covering the management of the restaurant during periods of annual leave
- Plan and maintain rota schedules to ensure adequate and efficient staffing levels in line with the labour budget
- Coordinate with team members the allocation of tasks to achieve flexibility and the best use of skills
- Ensure that all financial and payroll duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with the company policies and procedures
- Supporting the development and implementation of forecasts and budgets
- Establishing and monitoring financial and stock controls
- Place orders and check deliveries where required
- Support the General Manager in all people related matters, including recruitment, training, performance management, and career conversations
- Motivate the team, build effective relationships, to ensure that guests and employees have a great experience at all times
- Ensure compliance with Health and Food Safety procedures, including for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen.
- Work with the wider business to support the General Manager in ensuring that the restaurant is a success in all aspects.

What you’ll need:
- Comfortable leading a team from the front, giving them constructive feedback and teaching them along the way.
- Experience with the day to day operation of a face-paced restaurant environment.
- Positive work attitude, with the ability to multitask.
- Have a passion for delivering first-class service.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Regulations.
- Understanding of budgets, KPIs and P&L.
Please note that due to the nature of the industry, you will be required to work on a shift and rota basis.
