What you'll do
- Build strong relationships and work closely with managers to develop a People agenda that closely supports the overall strategic goals of Thredd.
- Use KPI's and metrics to diagnose critical issues affecting a business function and design appropriate solutions.
- Provide support for the business regarding HR processes, eg. reward, performance, grading, talent, development, annual compensation/performance reviews.
- Consult managers on employee relations topics and manage all employee relations and change processes end to end.
- Provide advice and coaching to the Line Management population ensuring consistency and adherence to local legislation.
- Assist with organisation and administration of the learning and development and talent management programmes.
- Support in the operationalisation of the full employee life cycle including local and international payrolls.
- Design, lead and implement a range of business wide priority People projects and drive engagement activities.
- Proactively suggest new and improved ways of working.
What you'll need
- Analytical mindset, capable of getting into detail with people data to analyse trends
- Exceptional oral and written communication, listening and presentation skills
- Very good attention to detail and ability to prioritise
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Ability to develop trusted relationships, credibility and influence stakeholders in a hybrid working environment
- Able to work independently and in a team-based setting
- High levels of emotional intelligence and ability to work well with a wide range of people
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving as well as conflict management skills
- Previous experience as an HR/People Business Partner role or equivalent
- Experience partnering with managers and function leads to develop, motivate and coach their team members.
- Strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR
- Experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues.
- Has worked in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Nice to have
- CIPD qualified
- Payroll and international experience is advantageous
- University degree in human resources, psychology, business, or any other related field
