This first-class service is provided to all asset classes across the entire trade lifecycle from client on-boarding to post settlement tax payments
The Fleet Enablement Lead is a senior leader who is passionate about serving customers, inspiring their teams, and excited to be an ambassador for the Firms new way of working. Partnering with Senior Leadership, you will be accountable for delivering business results and customer value measured through specific KPIs. You possess strong business or technical acumen and are capable and curious to learn across both. You know how to set strategic direction for your teams and are comfortable stepping out of the way while enabling and supporting your Product Owners (POs), Technical Leads & Squads to drive and deliver the work. You have a knack for empowering & bringing out the best in people, and love coaching and developing team members. You will also drive collaboration & knowledge sharing at all levels of the organization to break down silos & achieve the best results for the Firm
What will you be doing?
  • Functional responsibilities with accountability & impact on people, budgets & ops excellence targets
  • Delivery of a first rate client service experience
-Lead activities to renovate the Firm's Settlements systems away from legacy technologies onto the Cloud, ensuring we have a scalable, supportable, global platform
-Responsible for mgmt. of regular Fleet cadence to ensure that all aspects of the Fleet delivery are planned, tracked & optimized for high velocity effective delivery against agreed business outcomes
-Manage snr stakeholders to ensure the entire fleet remain in sync; issues are resolved & key decisions are made to deliver business results & customer value
-Specific & measurable KPI's to be defined for Fleet, Squadron & Squad
-Support the Fleet Lead in the communication of Fleet vision, purpose & measurable business/customer value KPI's; working with Senior Leadership to align on these elements
-Develop Fleet-level backlog of priorities, in-line with business strategy & KPIs
-Inspiring & empowering your Squads to deliver against the Fleet's priorities & KPI's
-Using facts, data, & analysis to make hard decisions and trade-offs, especially related to resource allocation & prioritization of work
-Working closely with POs to drive alignment between Fleet priorities & Squads' daily work
Empowering & enabling Squads to realize their missions
-Coordinating with POs & Chapter Leaders to identify the right resources to support the Fleet's priorities
-Engaging regularly with POs on Squad output & providing the right level of feedback to enable Squad alignment and autonomy
-Breaking down silos and improve working effectiveness by playing an 'integrator' role across the organization and across the organization as needed
-Collaborating with other Fleet Leads & stakeholders to resolve escalated bottlenecks & dependencies
-Teaming with Chapter Leadership to help strengthen our people and functional capabilities
Engaging with stakeholders above & below you to advance the work of the Fleet
-Support Senior PO & SA in defining acceptance criteria for Squad output and providing feedback on work-in-progress as helpful to ensure alignment
-Ensuring POs proactively seek out & consider the voice of the customer in defining their priorities
-Support Fleet Lead in representing the Fleet & Squad interests to snr stakeholders & escalating blockers
-Developing a framework for Agile coaching &continuous improvement for the Fleet
-Providing feedback & developing POs & Business Chapter Leads to improve individual & Squad performance

QUALIFICATIONS

What we’re looking for:
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery framework
-Knowledge of Security Settlements and consideration of upstream/downstream consumers is desirable
-Experience leading, motivating, coaching, and developing people and teams in an Agile environment
-Strong business or technical acumen and a deep strategic mindset. Knowledge and experience of data structures, data analytics and advanced automation techniques desirable
-Proven track record of delivering results and impact
-Proven analytical skills on hard and soft data
-Ability to understand and articulate broad organizational visions and objectives
-A desire and openness to learning and continuous improvement, both of yourself and your team members
