TITLE: HR Assistant
ROLE: To work as part of the HR Operations team to provide a professional, high quality, timely and customer focused HR service to key stakeholders, job applicants and customers throughout the Caridon Group.
REPORTS TO: Group HR Director
REPORTS IN: None
WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
SALARY: £25,500.00 per annum
Responsibilities
- First point of contact for HR related queries
- General HR administration
- Absence management
- Preparation and issue of contractual documentation
- Probation administration
- Maternity / Paternity administration
- Termination of employment (all categories)
- Upkeep of electronically stored employee records
- Carry out regular HR Audit checks to ensure integrity of data is maintained
- Compliance with GDPR legislation
- Recruitment administration
- Documentation checks for new starters – Right to Work & DBS
- Assist with employee relations matters – Disciplinary/Grievances
- Minute meetings
- Any other ad hoc duties
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years HR experience
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently to solve a range of problems relating to administrative processes.
- Ability to analyse data and present summary information in a clear and concise format.
- Ability to effectively organise allocated work activities, work to tight deadlines and assist in the effective organisation or non-standard tasks and events.

Licence/Certification:
