About the role

With a workforce of 21500 and a recent deployment of a new centralised Global Human Resources Function we have invested in and been integrating a HRIS (Success Factors) system into the company, with the objective of improving the efficiency of all our HR processes, by standardising and simplifying with a global mindset.

We are seeking a highly motivated People Analytics Manager to lead our efforts in using data and analytics to drive people-related decision making and strategy. You will need to be hands on with a strategic lens. You will be working closely with stakeholders to support and evolve the HR data strategy from its very beginning, with the main aim to eventually focus on applying analytics to drive decision-making.

You will be working on a global scale but will have the autonomy within the team to really make a difference in this space. This autonomy requires a forward-thinking individual with the drive to take data analytics forward in Renesas. This is a fully remote position.

  • Design and implement HR analytics projects and initiatives that drive business results.
  • Developing a People Data Governance model that supports our drive for robust data quality
  • Working closely with colleagues in HR Technology and ISD to influence and shape data requirements for HR, and the underlying data systems and structures.
  • Managing and taking forward data analytics across HR and the wider business
  • Developing and driving continuous improvement of data analytics, to provide accurate business insight, enabling and supporting informed decision making
  • Ensure data accuracy, privacy, and security.
  • Day-to-day activities will also include responding to various customer requests and queries,
  • To lead on supporting the decision and implementation of a global reporting tool fit for purpose for Renesas business needs
  • Developing complex reporting on request

What we are looking for

  • Experience in a HR Data Analytics role and proven ability to build this capability within an organisation.
  • Experience in working with and managing HRIS datasets from a range of sources (Success Factors /Workday experience ideal)
  • Practical experience with reporting solutions and data vizualization tools (e.g Tableau /Power BI) and statistical analysis software (e.g. Python, R, SAS).
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to break down business thoughts to a clear and concise format
  • Advanced understanding of HR technology platforms
  • Ability to distil complex findings clearly and flex communication style to audience.
  • Self motivated, proactive and capable of working on own initiative with limited supervision
  • Global mindset
  • Ability to manage a small team
