About The Role
Our People Advisors are a knowledgeable (and busy) bunch. As a People Advisor - Training you will be responsible for the coordinating completion and quality of compliance and policy training on your site, carrying out training where appropriate
Reporting to the People Manager you will also:
- Completion of activities to support site Safe and Legal compliance
- Ensure Data is up to date and accurate to measure Safe and Legal compliance Completion of training audits
- Feedback from delegates on quality of training (content and delivery)
- Supporting the design of training documents
- Agency training adherence
- Health and Safety process compliance
- Coordination, delivery and auditing of Safe and Legal and policy training activities
- Coordination of site Health and Safety activities
- Support the governance of Health and Safety processes on site and analysis of data to identify trends
- Oversee training support team where required (People Assistant Training, skills trainers, FLT Trainers) Flexibility to support colleagues across a 24/7 Operation where required
- Liaise with the internal and external colleagues

About You
As well as a 'hands on' attitude and the ability to react well to change (in a fast moving environment) you will also need to have:
- Knowledge of training compliance
- Knowledge of electronic training records system
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel/Google apps
- Experience of auditing
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Health and Safety at work {Intermediate Food Safety qualification and IOSH are desirable)
- Ability to deliver engaging and effective training
- Ability to write and review training documents and risk assessments
- Problem solving skills
- An effective communicator (verbal and written)
- Good coaching skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and build good working relationships at all levels
- Great time management and ability to prioritise a range of demands
- Experience in Health and Safety is desirable
- The ability to take responsibility for own development
- Experience within a Food Manufacturing/Logistics environment would be advantageous
- Experience of training delivering, behavioural training would d be advantageous
