What you will do:
Prioritise and organise workflow to ensure that all payments are executed in line with cut-off- Help to develop careers of colleagues in your team, through coaching, mentoring, and setting SMART goals
- Provide appropriate MI for the Leadership Team
- Develop and apply procedural controls
- Deputise for the Payments Processing Manager
- Instill a strong risk management and continuous improvement culture within the team
- Work on large-scale projects (i.e. PSD2/Faster Payment upgrades)
- Update processes to ensure they are robust for today’s environment

What you will need:
Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders- Payments processing experience (including SWIFT & SEPA, CHAPS and Faster Payments)
- Working knowledge of SWIFT
- Good understanding of payment-related risk
- Understanding of reconciliations and investigations processes
