When you join us as an Operational Services Sales Account Manager, you will be part of an established, stable and high performing team. You’ll be responsible for leading sales pursuits, collaborating with and supporting our account managers and providing your specialist expertise within the sales team. You will be the driver of proactive campaigns to build pipelines, share expert knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close opportunities. You may have named accounts allocated to you or you may develop relationships with new logos to drive your overall territory revenue.

In a typical day you will…

  • Use your expertise to seek out new revenue opportunities by expanding and enhancing existing accounts, building pipeline and driving pursuit initiatives
  • Work with the broader team to create strategic and targeted business development plans
  • Sell complex IT services to customers on a partnership basis
  • Establish a trusted and consultative relationship with your clients
  • Maintain and use your HPE cross-portfolio knowledge to drive the sell-through of other infrastructure and service solutions
  • Dependent on named account alignment, there may also be a need to manage the renewals of existing OS business.


Skills and Experience…

  • Be considered an expert in your field with exceptional relationship building skills
  • Use your expertise specialty, consultative solution selling and business development skills to align the client's business needs with a solution
  • Demonstrate leadership and initiative in successfully driving services sales in accounts - prospecting, negotiating and closing deals
  • Able to balance strategic and tactical pursuits to optimize coverage and develop a predictable revenue stream.

  • Holding a University or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or computer science or equivalent
  • Experienced in the IT industry and vertical industry
