Full Time Remote 10.56 - 12.04 GBP Today
Job description

Juni who?

We’re Juni. Born on the West Coast (of Sweden). Built for flexible working. And busy building a future where digital commerce is free from financial barriers. Want to be a part of it all?

What we do

Juni gives online businesses the tools they need to save time, scale up and succeed. Our financial platform helps financial leaders take control of their cash flow, make better decisions and unlock the full potential of digital commerce. We even offer working capital to help them achieve their goals and dream up new ones. And that’s just for starters.

How & why we do it

We give our people the same thing we’re building for our customers: freedom. Freedom to choose how you split your time working from home and at one of our European hubs. Freedom to be 100% yourself. Freedom to explore your potential and what’s more – make the most of it. We truly believe we’re making the world a better place for online businesses, and we want you to be a part of that mission.

Summary

As a Senior Payment Operations Specialist, you will help drive the development, scalability and growth of Juni’s Payment Operations Team. Your task will ensure that Payment Operations closely align with the company’s strategic goals, mission and vision. You will be expected to identify and demonstrate what good looks like and work with your stakeholders to determine and establish what great looks like. That will be your journey. To iterate, plan, action and deliver on a plan that ensures that our payments domain area is efficient and effective at delivering value to our customers.

We are looking for someone with enough experience, grit, drive and energy to build a plan and execute - but still open and willing to know that they do not know everything. You will be expected to be a key team player and work alongside other brilliant operators throughout the Operations Department.

Juni is a startup environment, and that is not for everyone. That is ok! We want operators who are exceptional at expectation management and clean delivery. We operate at high speed in challenging conditions and need individuals who can think quickly, communicate clearly, know what they do not know and demonstrate empathy and competence. We praise individuality but do not have much time for individualists. We need you if you expect the best from yourself and those around you. If you want to be part of an adventure that will change your career, click on the apply button.

  • You will be responsible for establishing (in collaboration with stakeholders) the processes and procedures needed to ensure Juni builds an efficient and practical card and payment system.

  • You are responsible for planning as well as execution. We do not have the time nor the space for strategists. We need doers as well as thinkers. You will be expected to solve customer-related payment and card issues, including but not limited to card declines, acceptance issues, payments sent/received in error, traces and recalls.

  • You will be expected to own payment-related reporting for internal and external stakeholders and seek to improve this in collaboration with our Finance Department and Data Team.

  • You will develop a framework with our Finance Department to support reconciling card scheme settlement and interchange information.

  • Evaluate and provide feedback on the existing processes and create new procedures for Payment Ops.
