Join a dynamic and forward-thinking company as a Legal Systems Manager! We are seeking a skilled professional to optimize our client’s line of business systems and revolutionize their legal technology solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting their strategic plans and enhancing their workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • Master the firm’s business systems, including Practice Management, Document Management, Case Management, and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Develop and optimise legal technology solutions in alignment with the firm’s strategy.
  • Advise on system selection and implementation to support their strategic plans.
  • Manage project delivery for successful technology implementations.
  • Guide staff in creating and maintaining solutions for templates and precedent documents.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for legal applications.
  • Administer critical legal systems and ensure data integrity.
  • Generate custom reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Power BI.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, involving users in projects and providing necessary training.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate flexibility to meet changing needs.
  • Take on additional duties as delegated by IT management.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong systems administration experience.
  • Proficiency in database management, particularly SQL or Progress.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Business and process analysis abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience working in an ITIL aligned environment.
  • Familiarity with the MS Azure technology stack.
  • Knowledge of data manipulation and report creation, preferably using Power BI and/or SSRS.
  • Experience with SOS Legal, Litera DocX, and/or LexisCreate.

Requirements/Experience:

  • Previous experience in the professional services industry, ideally within the legal sector.
  • Minimum three years of experience in IT systems administration or data roles.
  • Proven experience in producing management information reports from raw data.
  • Ability to leverage existing technology to deliver innovative business solutions.
  • Capability to work on and contribute to IT projects and associated change.
