We believe that a business is not a success without happy customers and happy staff.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThey include all work normally covered by that job title or as otherwise directed by your immediate manager. In particular, you shall carry out the following:· To assist in the preparation of excellent quality food: making the pasta and the sauces from the scratch.· To cook the pasta in front our costumes providing an excellent food quality and costumer service.· To ensure that the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic· To clean the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas· To sort, store and distribute ingredients· To assist in stock-taking and storage, including checking deliveries· To report any problems to the shift leader or to one of the directors· To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems· On performing your duties, exercise them with due diligence and loyalty such knowledge skill and expertise as may be reasonably be expected of a person carrying out such duties· From time to time, you may be required to take on other duties of which you are capable in addition to or in place of your normal dutiesRequirements· To be able to work independently and as part of a team, to be willing to learn· To be able to work efficiently within a busy high-pressured kitchen· Highly organised and punctual, driven to learn in a busy environment· Excellent attention to detail· Great understanding of the importance of health and hygieneJob Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-timePart-time hours: 30 per weekSalary: Up to £15.00 per hourBenefits:Casual dressCompany eventsDiscounted or free foodEmployee discountFlexitimeFree parkingReferral programmeStore discountFlexible Language Requirement:English not requiredSchedule:8 hour shiftFlexitimeWeekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:TipsAbility to commute/relocate:Cambridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)Experience:Cooking: 1 year (required)Work Location: In person
