Job description
We are looking for a Parts Advisor for our busy BCA Corby site (Geddington Road A). This is an ideal role for a candidate with previous experience of working as a stock controller or warehouse administrator.
This location of a BCA is easily accessible from Kettering, Wellingborough, Northampton, Thrapston, Rushden, Leicester, Peterborough and many more!
Our recruitment process will include phone interview with our Talent Acquisition Specialist. This will be followed with a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager.
Salary: £27,244.72 per annum
Working Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00-17:00
Main purpose of the job:
As a Parts Administrator, you will report directly to the Parts Manager and will be responsible for ordering parts and consumables as well as storing and issuing parts to the workshop.
Main responsibilities:
- Control Workshop Stock- booking goods into the system, cross-referring vehicle parts, liaise with the stock team to order required parts, completing stock checks both physical stock holding and system balances.
- Administrative support- answer all email and telephone queries, complete weekly reports and all relevant paperwork, assist in the provision of quality administrative support to the workshop
- Other ad-hoc duties
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience of working within a stock and systems administrative role (essential)
- Previous experience within the automotive sector (desirable)
- Computer literate with experience in using Excel (essential)
- Strong communicative skills – speaking, reading and writing (essential)
- Excellent numerical and literacy skills
- You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
- Excellent attention to detail
