Part Time Cashier/Till Operator - Notcutts Peterborough Garden Centre
24 - 30 hours available: Various hours available, with alternate weekends working. Additional hours may be available during peak trading times.
Rate of pay £7.00 - £10.90 per hour
Notcutts is a family owned National Garden Centre group.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly individual to work as a till operator/cashier within our Peterborough Garden Centre. The role is working alternate weekends additional hours may also be available during busy trading times.
As a Cashier/till operator working in Notcutts, you will be the last person our customers will meet and therefore it is important that you provide an excellent customer service, giving our customers a positive lasting impression. This role will also involve maintaining displays to areas near the cash desks and general housekeeping duties.
Successful candidates will:
· Ideally have previous experience operating a till, preferably in a retail environment
· Have excellent people skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of customers
· Be a naturally friendly and helpful person
· Be well presented, organised and punctual
· Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
· Be flexible and adaptable to change
· Be able to work effectively as part of a team and on their own
