The services delivered by the Communities, Economy and Transport department (CET) have an enormous impact on the lives of local people and the natural environment. From operating waste facilities and registration offices, to maintaining roads and major infrastructure planning, the moment an East Sussex resident steps outside their front door, they are interacting with our work.

As a Parking Review Officer your responsibilities will include drafting Traffic Regulation Orders and responding to requests and reviewing different parking schemes within the County. Knowledge of or experience of working within a Civil Parking Enforcement environment is not essential but would be desirable
We are looking for candidates who:
- are skilled in managing their time to meet deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- have basic knowledge of using Word and Outlook, and written and oral communication skills including being able to communicate effectively in plain English.
- are self-motivated.
- have a commitment to training and personal development.
- are flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
Parking Review and Traffic Regulation work is an opportunity to help manage the use of East Sussex’s roads to help people make safe and reliable journeys.

Additional InformationYour starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
