About the Role
This role sits within a cross-functional media investment team called Media Lab, which encompasses multiple performance marketing channels as well as adding the complementary product, engineering and insights resources to bolster our marketing ability. This person will report to the Senior Media Planning Manager.
The team has a high profile, driving over a third of the company’s revenues, and needs talent that can uphold this profile in a credible manner. Our key stakeholder groups include the Exec Board of Directors, Finance, Trade Managers and Retail.
What You'll Be Doing
- Campaign set up, management and optimization across paid media channels including but not limited to Discovery campaigns, Youtube, UAC and Display.
- Ongoing daily and weekly reporting, including budget monitoring and daily spend reviews, as well as generation of bespoke reporting used to aid the team in reviewing campaign performance and suggesting future campaign optimization.
- Brief creative assets (including copy) to support our campaigns and ensuring smooth delivery of those assets to the team.
- Support the paid media manager with responding to briefs and create media plans according to best practices and help building knowledge for the team based on experience
- Support the paid media manager with ensuring our activities are specifically tailored to align with the trading calendar and key moments.
- Work with cross-functional teams made of internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of projects that have a paid media element.
- Supporting the team with the ideation and implementation of our test and learn roadmap to improve our performance as well as developing best practices when necessary.
We’d Like to Meet Someone With
- Experience working in Paid Media roles.
- Passion for working in Digital Marketing.
- Awareness of the wider Digital Marketing landscape (PPC, SEO, Paid Social and Programmatic channels).
- Ability to work with numbers and data interpretation.
- Passion for working in the Retail industry with a commercial mind-set.
- Proficiency in use of the Microsoft suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint to create reports and work with large data sets)
- Ability to build strong collaborative internal & external relationships.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A data driven, proactive and creative approach to problem solving.
- Constant desire to learn & undertake new challenges.
- Flexibility in adapting to fast-changing priorities and a fast paced work environment.
- Ability to understand & adjust to differences between geographies & cultures.
