Location: Kidderminster
Hours: Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4pm
Pay: From £10.42 p/h
Contract: Temporary ongoing
A local company In Kidderminster are looking for a Packing Operative to join their team on a Temporary ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will be hard working, reliable and punctual. In return the candidate has the potential to be offered a permanent contract.
The Duties of a Packing Operative:
" Accurately and efficiently pick and pack parts according to order specifications.
" Ensure that all packed items meet quality standards and safety requirements.
" Organise and prepare products for shipping, adhering to specific guidelines.
" Maintain a clean and organised packing area to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in an automotive environment.
" Collaborate with the production team to ensure the packing process runs smoothly
" Report any packaging or product quality issues to the supervisor
" Assist with stock control to prevent any delays in fulfilling orders.
" Support other departments, such as assembly or logistics, when required
The Requirements of a Packing Operative:
" Previous experience in packing or warehouse operations desirable
" Strong attention to detail and precision in handling parts
" Ability to work efficiently within a team
" Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members in a fast-paced setting.
" Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting demands.
