Job description

We are looking to recruit a Site Manager/site agent/ site foreman for a new build of 8 houses in New Inn, Nebo, Llanon, Ceredigion, SY23 5LF. 12-14 months project with potential to extend as we have more sites coming up in Wales.

Your role will be the day-to-day management of site operations, to ensure that the project is brought to a successful completion and meets the required time, budget and quality constraints.

Responsibilities will include:

• Giving instructions and supervising the site team (employees and subcontractors) and ensuring all are working to schedule and following common operational standards.
• Checking workmanship and finishes are achieved in accordance with specifications, building regulations and health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Ensuring the site workforce adheres to the Company’s quality, health, safety and environmental policies and standards.
• Completing necessary daily/weekly HSEQ forms and maintaining HSEQ records as required by the Company.
• Liaising with clients, design teams, neighbours and other stakeholders.
• Ordering materials(if required), checking deliveries and managing the on-site storage and distribution of resources.

Experience:

• New build residential homes.
• Previous experience in on construction projects

Desirable/Essential:

• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Fire Marshall
• Appropriate CSCS card
• Conversant with current Health & Safety, CDM and statutory building regulations.
• IT competent (use of online construction systems)

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: £145.00-£250.00 per day

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Llanon: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
