Role Summary
To support our companies Vision & Missions, we have fantastic opportunities for Packaging Operatives to play a key team role in the manufacturing of our nutraceutical product range.
Our Production Department are committed to providing a high-quality product to our customers. The primary purpose of a Packaging Operative is to contribute to an effective manufacturing process through the correct operation of plant, systems, and processes to ensure we meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Working in this area, you will be responsible for ensuring that the packaging is done according to company standards and that products are ready to be distributed. Your role will also include hygiene responsibilities to ensure that your working area meets the highest standards of food hygiene protocols to minimise risk to product contamination. There will be circumstances where you may be tasked with duties across all production operations.
This role best suits upbeat and self-motivated individuals who enjoy working systematically and productively. The fast paced and energised environment relies on organisation and efficiency and to meet the demands of the task. Day-to-day duties can involve a substantial amount of manual handling including bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and lifting. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.
To fulfil the role, you must be a resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
Skills/Experience/Qualifications
We are looking for pro-active and enthusiastic team player to join our forward thinking and dynamic team. Previous experience working as a packaging operative within the nutraceutical industry or other regulated environments is desirable but not essential as significant training will be provided. Having a good range of mobility is important to ensure you can work safely within health and safety regulations without placing undue strain on your body.
Due to the nature of the working environment, training requirements & documentation controls, a functional understanding of verbal & written English is essential.
