Job description
Multi-Trades Recruitment is looking for a Drainage Operative for a well-established drainage and construction company based in Leigh.

This is a full-time permanent position, subject to 13-week probation.
About You:
- High work ethic & team player.
- Punctual & reliable.
- Flexible approach.
- Drainage experience is an advantage.
- Full UK driving license. (preferably no more than 3 points)
- Must be flexible as you will be required to carry out a reasonable amount of overtime.
- Be willing to work nights, weekends, and early starts as we operate 24/7.
- CSCS, HPWJ, Confined Space, EUSR Water Hygiene, NRASW Signing, Lighting & Guarding, are desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- You MUST be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
About the role:
- Hourly rate: £11.
- Operating various equipment and vehicles for a wide range of drain-related issues from emergency call-outs and blockages.
- Cleaning pipes during regular maintenance programs.
- Carrying out CCTV Survey works.
- Hours: Typically 7 am-5 pm. (MUST be flexible due to the reactive nature of the role)
- Time and a half over 40 hours.
- Time and a half on Saturdays.
- Double-time Sundays.
- Permanent position for the right candidate with many opportunities for progression.
