Job description

Jxe carpentry and construction ltd is currently seeking a tradesman to join our team in the Braintree, Essex area. This is a full-time position, with the potential for overtime.

Duties:

• Install and repair roofing materials and systems (e.g. insulation, shingles, roofs)
• Perform construction (e.g. framing, painting, finishing) of residential and commercial roofs and structures
• Perform maintenance (e.g. repair and replacement of roof materials and structures)
• Perform equipment setup for future construction projects
• Maintain equipment inventory and storage space for future projects
• Maintain proper use of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisor or manager

Skills:

• Proven experience as a tradesman or similar role
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Ability to handle tools and equipment (e.g. roofing materials, tools, etc.)with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Outstanding organizational and communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent; Construction diploma preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 32 per week

Salary: From £150.00 per day
