We have an opportunity for a Warehouse Logistics Associate to join our team in Edinburgh!
Responsibilities:
Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations.- Pack, stock, organize and rearrange products in warehouse, in a neat and clean manner.
- Organize and maintain records of inventories up to date.
- Monitor and manage inventory control.
- Manage and handle shipping, loading and unloading of products.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care.
- Drive, vans, trucks, passenger cars handling warehouse/logistics materials.
- Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.
- Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials.
- Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes.
- Processing received deliveries and distribution to factory efficiently.
- Processing production orders, and all other material/component requests to factory.
- Administer stock control.
- Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost.
- Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met.
- Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements.
- Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers.
- Manage and develop logistics team.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous Skills working within a similar environment
- Firm grasp of supply chain, inventory, and distribution
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven competence in a similar role
- Work as part of a team
- Good time keeping
- Show Initiative
- Previous SAP knowledge an advantage
