Business Analyst
London (Hybrid)
Role Overview
The Business Analyst is responsible for leading business analysis activities to drive rapid and effective design and delivery of solutions to priority business problems.
Working on multiple projects at once; 50% single year £250k – to £300k, 50% 3 – 5 year projects £4 – 6 million. From idea to execution, Front-to- back.
Key Responsibilities
Lead expert business analysis activities to drive real business value for the organisation.
Analyse complex business needs and collaborate with stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes.
Partner with Business Product Owners, SMEs and delivery teams across the Group to drive effective definition and prioritisation of initiatives/requirements and design of innovative solutions to meet business needs.
Stay up-to-date with business trends and specific domain knowledge to better understand changes and opportunities in the business environment and alternative solution delivery options.
Bring objectivity with ‘data-driven’ insights to ensure understanding of financial and non-financial implications to help stakeholders reach appropriate decisions.
Identifying and assessing potential risks associated with proposed solutions and developing and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
Drive continuous improvement and development of organisational Business Analysis capabilities
Role-model and drive the design, implementation and embedding of best practices to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Stakeholder engagement and Change Management support
Communicate complex business requirements to foster shared understanding to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Presenting complex messages in clear, purposeful and consumable ways.
Demonstrating leadership and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and guide the analysis of complex scenarios.
Understand the impact of change on the organisation and stakeholders and provide advice and guidance on how to navigate through change.
Key Skills
The Business Analyst must possess a combination of analytical, creative, and communication skills, as well as a broad and deep expertise in analysis techniques, solution development, and project/change management. The ability to self-manage and work in a dynamic environment is also crucial, as is a results-driven mindset that considers risk and prioritises the delivery of value to stakeholders.
