About the store
Specsavers in Beverley first opened its doors in 1999 and sits in a prominent position on the main pedestrianised high street, near popular stores such as Marks and Spencer and Boots and is firmly embedded within the local community. The bustling high street and market draws shoppers from the surrounding rural areas.
The store boasts 5 test rooms all fully equipped with the latest clinical technology including OCT. A team of 35 dedicated colleagues call this store home. Customer service and professionalism are the key priorities for this store, and they pride themselves in ensuring that every one of their customers receives an excellent patient experience. The high levels of service and patient care have led to numerous positive customer reviews and an excellent local reputation.
Store location
Beverley is a market town and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, situated 27 miles southeast of York and 15 miles north-west of Hull. Famous for its racecourse, stunning architecture and markets, Beverley is also known for hosting food and music festivals. Surrounding Beverley is the most beautiful of countryside, perfect for walks and hikes and a 30 minute drive takes you to the coast where you’ll find the stunning beaches and coastline of Hornsea.
There are excellent transport links, the bus station is a 4 minute walk and train station only a 6 minute walk from the store where you can catch a train to Hull in under 20 minutes.
Requirements of the role
Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Optometry Partner, you’ll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. You’ll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.
