The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Dealing with invoices received daily, entering them onto the system and distributing to the relevant department
- Answering and assisting with telephone calls, and resolving any supplier queries
- Passing cheques for signature and chasing up when necessary
- Assisting with any queries from other departments relating to invoices and payments
- Provision of general office support for the Head Office
The Person:
The successful candidate will:
- Have a high degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel Packages
- Be a strong communicator with confident telephone manner
- Demonstrate high levels of initiative to investigate and resolve matters
- Deliver high levels of customer service
- Be flexible in taking on a wide range of tasks
- Possess excellent analytical skills
- Previous experience of working within an administration environment is desirable though not essential, as full training will be provided
