The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Dealing with invoices received daily, entering them onto the system and distributing to the relevant department
  • Answering and assisting with telephone calls, and resolving any supplier queries
  • Passing cheques for signature and chasing up when necessary
  • Assisting with any queries from other departments relating to invoices and payments
  • Provision of general office support for the Head Office

The Person:

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a high degree of computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel Packages
  • Be a strong communicator with confident telephone manner
  • Demonstrate high levels of initiative to investigate and resolve matters
  • Deliver high levels of customer service
  • Be flexible in taking on a wide range of tasks
  • Possess excellent analytical skills
  • Previous experience of working within an administration environment is desirable though not essential, as full training will be provided
