Job description
Are you working in a process plant environment within the Power Generation, Chemical Production, Biomass or similar industry? Or do you already know your way around an Energy from Waste (EfW) facility?
About the role
- £28,718 - £36,615 per annum (followed by annual salary review in April) plus 20% Shift Allowance, 10% annual Bonus (non-contractual), 25 Holiday Days + BH, Company Pension- 5% ER, Benefits Catalogue.
What will I be doing?
You’ll be working directly with critical elements of the plant, making sure everything runs safely and efficiently, in a way that complies with environmental legislation. It means continuously monitoring, controlling, assessing and adjusting plant processes, and applying your expertise to any problems that arise. You’ll have particular responsibility for the water tube boilers – sampling and analysing the water within them. You’ll also isolate plant systems if necessary to ensure the plant operates safely.
What are the requirements?
With a background in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, you’ll have worked on an Energy Recovery facility or similar process plant environment and know how to use ancillary plant equipment. You’ll be familiar with boilers, process control and measurement, with knowledge of relevant health & safety and environmental legislation. Experience and certifications required for the role include a BOAS Cert IBO, IOSH working safely qualification along with good IT skills. If you don’t have all of the above don’t worry as SUEZ will invest in you from day one with an extensive, structured, development program to increase and develop your skills and expertise, providing you with the additional skills you need.
