My client is looking for the best of the best to join their rapidly growing team in this incredibly exciting time for them. The role will be based in their London offices on a highly flexible hybrid work model.
As a Product designer, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely and collaborating with Product Managers, Product Owners and Engineers to ensure you understand what the customer needs are and to ensure you design user friendly and quality products and features
- Use storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to visually communicate design concepts
- Create graphic user interface components, such as menus, tabs, and widgets
- Construct navigation buttons and search fields for web pages
- Produce UI mockups and prototypes that effectively convey the appearance and functionality of websites and mobile applications
- Deliver initial concepts and presentations to internal teams and relevant stakeholders
- Conduct market research and user interview to help find solution to customers pain points
- Recognise and resolve UX issues, such as responsiveness
In the end, you will be responsible for developing functional and visually appealing features that meet the requirements of our users and contribute to expanding our customer base.
This ideal and successful candidate will have:
- At least 3 years' experience designing world-class products (across UX and UI) that haven’t just achieved business results, but created real value for customers, ideally within a dedicated product team
- Competence with Sketch (or Figma) and other common design tools
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence others and advocate for design at all levels
- Good product thinking and a human-centred design approach
- Ability to create interactive prototypes, showing knowledge of composition, colour and interaction design principles
- Good time-management skills
- Familiarity with Agile is a plus
- Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product design lifecycle
- Ideally have experience working in a product first tech environment, with a basic technical background and knowledge of software development and web technologies
- Team spirit and good communication abilities
- Excellent organisational skills
