Care Assistant
We are a home that looks after 33 people living with dementia. We pride ourselves in outstanding care, ensuring people live just as they would in thier own home. Every day brings new opportunities to make someone's day special.
You may not have previous experience but just be enthusiastic, caring and really want to make a difference to someones life. You may have experience, but be disillusioned with your present position. Either way, I would be happy to show you around our lovely and unique care home and to meet our family!
Currently we are looking for spontaneous, warm, loving carers who can connect with people and create an inclusive family atmosphere and can change the moment.

- Responsibilities
- Your duties will include preparing breakfast,tea and other snacks (as well as hosting lunchtimes on day shifts.)
- You will facilitate meaningful occupation and involve residents in domestic tasks and activity that has meaning for them, night shift carers will also provide the care needed to assist in ensuring the night runs smoothly by monitoring and attending to people as required through the night.
- You will be able to identify signs of ill-being and well-being.
- You will want to give truly person centred care and not be task led. You will go with the flow and live in the moment.
Requirements
You may already be involved in care work or come from a different industry altogether. We are not looking for qualifications but just the 'right' kind of person that wears their heart on their sleeves and really wants to make a difference.
