Here at GXO, we are looking for an Operations Support Manager to join us on our B&Q contract in Warrington. You play a key part of the operational network, as such this role will require extensive national travel.

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37.5 per week.

Pay, benefits and more:

You’ll be paid a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending upon experience, in addition to a monthly car allowance. What you’ll do on a typical day:

· Lead and deliver customer projects and establish the processes that will support the delivery of the project

· Identify and assign project tasks based on the skill sets, experience and strengths of colleagues involved

· Support and develop process improvement and continuous improvement methodology across the network

· As part of the contract operational team work closely with operations to identify commercial opportunities and best practice

What you need to succeed at GXO:

· Experience of working within both transport and warehouse environments

· Able to develop and implement a management plan for customer projects with a demonstrable record of delivering against targets

· Experienced in reaching conclusions and extrapolating assumptions based on data

· Proven ability to communicate, engage and influence both up and down the organisational structure
