As Chief Executive you will lead the Civil Service which delivers a broad range of services to a growing population of c85,000 residents. The Chief Executive will lead the development of a cohesive organisation of national government which supports and delivers the priorities of the Council of Ministers, ensuring excellent public services across the Isle of Man.
Whether providing strategic advice and policy guidance to the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, providing advice and support to the Lieutenant Governor, or leading and directing the Public Service, this is a multi-faceted role offering stretch and challenge to an accomplished leader used to working effectively at the political interface and with a broad and diverse range of stakeholders.
The Chief Executive will be alert and engaged to the changing external landscape whilst ensuring a focus on performance improvement and transformation across Government to ensure the Isle of Man is well-placed to capitalise and reaffirm its position. Comfortable in a representational role, you will be at ease contributing to the reputation of the Isle of Man nationally and internationally.
Already experienced as a senior leader, and with an appreciation of Public Service and its values, you will be ambitious for further stretch and development. You will need to be able to translate your experience to a unique environment and place to ensure effective government enables all communities here to thrive and fulfil their potential.
