Morgan King Group are actively recruiting for an Operations Packing Coordinator on behalf of a world class and award-winning early life nutrition manufacturing client. Due to internal growth, our client is looking for an Operations Packing Coordinator with experience in packaging co-ordination.
Based in Kendal, the Operations Packing Coordinator will be able to commute to the head office.
Key Responsibilities of the Operations Packing Coordinator:
· Ensuring that new packaging formats can be manufactured onsite with current plant. In the case that they are not, able to identify suitable new processes or plant and develop these in conjunction.
· Liaising with internal departments and individuals outside the company that new packaging products are stable and capable of cost-effective manufacture.
· Supporting the artwork and packaging development process.
· Able to attend relevant packaging and sustainability trade shows to stay ahead of challenges facing the industry and planet.
· Assist in the research for new packing design and technologies.
· Develop relationships and partnerships with equipment and packing materials suppliers and manufacturers.
Operations Packing Coordinator requirements:
· At least 2 years’ experience in business administration or packaging co-ordination.
· Sense of responsibility and curiosity to develop existing products.
· Great written, verbal and in person communicator.
· Accurate attention to details with problem solving capabilities.
· Previous people management or supervisory experience.
In return, the Operations Packing Coordinator will receive:
· Remuneration: Up to £45,000 / Year
· Shift pattern:
o 08:00AM – 16:00AM - Monday – Friday
· 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays) with additional holidays granted each year for the first 5 years of employment.
