JOB BREIF
To lead and develop the warehouse operations department to ensure consistent, reliable and professional service to our customers.
DETAILS
· Leading and developing the warehouse and distribution team through team leaders and supervisors.
· To lead and motivate the team by using the management information available
· Ensuring the warehouse and distribution operations run efficiently without disruptions.
· Implementing new processes and systems to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
· Involve the teams in making decisions through the development of focus groups looking at areas for continuous improvement and feedback on making the department a better place to work.
· Developing own fleet and managing third party couriers to ensure consistently reliable delivery.
· Space capacity planning and forecasting.
· Ensuring stock accuracy is improved and maintained through regular stock checks.
· Recruiting new team members to help achieve department goals.
· Assisting in setting department goals and budgets and ensuring they are met.
· Liaising regularly with line manager to feedback and discuss ideas and opportunities.
· Helping achieve our target of providing the best level of customer service in the industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
