Shield Security Services limited is an established security company, based in Aldershot, Hampshire, one of the highest scoring companies in the government security authority “approved contractor scheme” We are seeking two experienced, quality, energetic and flexible operations managers to join our senior management team.
This is a very much-hands on role for someone who is flexible in their approach to work hours, with an understanding of the demands of the security guarding – Key holding and response industry.
Salary
From £38K to £42K a year dependant on experience and qualification

Hours of Work: this is based on 45-50 hours week. Participation in the duty manager scheme.

- Protracted senior management experience of Security Guarding operations (including Key holding Response, Mobile security Services, Management of 24/7 control centre)

Summary
· We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager(s) to oversee the provision of security operations and provide strategic leadership to the operational team and site-based staff.
· Supervising, guiding, and delegating operational team in their duties.
· Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.
Tasks:
· Overall responsibility to MD for company operation – Service delivery
· Personnel management to operational team (Admin, Control and Guarding and Mobile services) and site-based staff.
· Participation in new business prospecting scheme
· Key contract Management (client relationship)
· Operational compliance to British Standards BS7499, 7984 7858 etc.
· Health & safety of all operational personnel
· Incident and complaint report management
· Time and attendance Scheduling (knowledge of TIMEGATE would be beneficial
· Scheduling mobile services for visits and lock and unlocks of client sites.
· This list is not exhaustive, this is a very much hand on role you will be required to carry out other tasks, as required in support of the company’s activities.
Requirements:
- Qualification in security industry leadership or management skills.
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
- Extensive experience as a Operations manager or in a similar role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to excel in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in in the use of security industry software to manage, time and attendance, lone worker safety, patrol management, incident reporting etc.

Located with 45-minute (reasonable commuting distance) company head offices based in Aldershot GU12 4LR.
