POSITION: Operations Manager
An operations manager forms a vital part of the management system of an organisation. As an operations manager you should provide good leadership for the organisation and maintain good quality standards for the organisation. You will be responsible for the management of the overall operations of our organisation by overseeing management. You will be liable to operate the departments in the company and ensure that the company is operating successfully by keeping company resources optimized to improve business outcomes and promoting efficiency as well as productivity in the business.
The operations manager is responsible to sustain quality control, by ensuring the company services meet the required standards. As a result, you will be liable to supply chain management and forecasting market to improve business outcomes and manage the business processes.
THE COMPANY:
The company based in Chiswick is private and operates in entertainment, including Visual Effects and Animation.
The head office is based in Singapore with a Production House in India. The promoters and the leaders of the company have profound experience in the fields of Visual Effects, Animation and Feature Film Production for the past 20 years.
The Company has been very successful internationally and the UK branch has recently opened for business in
London. We have created a great success in our offices abroad and wish to achieve the same success in London.

The Company is an outsourcing company serving major clients across North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia. We create Visual Effects, Animation, Feature Film Production and Education for the past 20 years.
Apart from a robust team of skilled VFX professionals, we are looking for an operations manager, who would serve the business well by managing the entire business and providing multiple skills to ensure the business is managed appropriately.
JOB ROLE:
The operations manager will deal with the control of the business operations on a day-to-day basis. Therefore, the operations manager will be responsible for people, operations, budgets, project delivery of services.
Operations managers should have extensive knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
The following are the qualities required for this position:
DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:
- Managing departments to ensure higher productivity and efficiency;
- Managing margins, costs, budgeting and forecasting;
- Managing project delivery functions including, delivery assurance, quality assurance, client delivery and relationship management;
- Supporting production planning process, reviewing workloads to ensure targets are met;
- Communicating changes in an order process to all parties/teams;
- Good leadership qualities and overall control, with the ability to provide direction
- Performing HR duties such as recruiting, selecting, scheduling, counselling and disciplining employees
- Helping the company to promote high morale and communicate the company’s operating policies and customer issues;
- Manage customer service and keep customer satisfaction at high levels
- Planning and supervising the implementation of production of goods or services
- Communicating and contracting with outside suppliers/contractors to introduce new business opportunities
THE PERSON & JOB REQUIREMENT
- Management experience minimum three years
- Absorbing the above listed duties and responsibilities are essential.
- Experience in negotiating contracts with outside suppliers and ability to provide a project management style to our existing organisation;
- Additionally, good communication skills, management, controlling, closing skills, motivation to better performance and service of business, selling to customer needs, keeping employees organized, energy level, highly motivated and a problem solver.
- Language requirement: speaking English language at competent level

Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 p/a
Hours: 39 Hours per week
