Operations Manager Account Governance
Glasgow
As a Barclays Operations Manager Account Governance, you will be accountable for the effective management and oversight for all local activity within that team. This is an opportunity for you to monitor and maintain the integrity of the reconciliation activity by co-ordinating implementation of new reconciliations, monitoring performance, undertaking large scale reconciliation remediation activity, continually enhancing auto-matching and auto-casing rules, timely management of incidents.

What will you be doing?
- Handling all aspects of day-to-day management of a team of between 0-10 FTE – staff may be based globally
- Being accountable for workflow/productivity management ensuring agreed volumes are processed each day to meet service level agreements across all areas of responsibility
- Driving global governance and oversight framework for break management, reconciliation integrity, account ownership, balance sheet substantiation and reconciliation change
- Managing conflicts and synergies across teams and take appropriate action when dealing with competing deadlines and priorities
- Being the liaison with stakeholders (VP/Director and above) across operations, technology, product delivery functions and coverage
- Overseeing reconciliations within BAU operational environment to ensure integrity and risk profile is managed effectively
- Experience in Operational Management, managing high performing teams to drive results and excellence
- Proven experience of operating a mature control environment and embedding strong risk culture
- Proven experience of successfully leading and managing a diverse change / continuous improvement agenda alongside various headwinds and unexpected reprioritisation
- Good commercial awareness and track record in contributing to meeting financial targets
