We are a start-up tutoring business seeking a highly motivated Operations Intern to join our team. As an Operations Intern, you will work closely with our management team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the growth of the business.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and responsible candidate to join our team as an Operations Intern. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others. This position requires working late afternoons, evenings and/or weekends so we are looking for a self-starter who is able to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner. A successful candidate will be interested in pursuing a career in Operations Management once he or she completes this internship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating tutoring sessions between students and tutors
- Communicate with parents and students to ensure their needs are being met
- Assist with maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with tutors to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to management
- Support marketing efforts by assisting with social media campaigns, email marketing, and other promotional activities
- Learn and apply project management techniques to help streamline business processes
- Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry and customer follow-up
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree with a 2:1 achieved or predicted.
- 3 A levels at Grade BBB or above.
- Demonstrable entrepreneurial skills acquired professionally or through personal projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus but not required
