Job description
Our Operations and Programmes Coordinator involves supporting the planning and delivering of key services to the Stafford House Study Holiday centres. This will include stock purchase, organisation and distribution, as well as processing invoices. You will also provide support to our summer centres and staff including making transport and facilities bookings.
This role also involves the planning and execution of our programmes both at our summer centres year-round schools. Booking excursions and planning onsite activities.
This is a contract position until the end of August 2023, working 15 hours per week and can be a work-from-home position.
What is involved as our Operations and Programmes Coordinator:
- Produce programmes for our groups for both summer and year round courses
- Make attractions and transportation bookings required for the programmes
- Develop and create new activities, tours and materials to be used at centres
- Take a key role in the recruitment of our activities teams including advertising, screening and organising and taking part in interviews
- Process paperwork and invoices from centre staff and suppliers e.g. transport companies, stock suppliers
- Produce and update risk assessments for activities and excursions at our centres
- Support staff during the summer and provide activities training at our management training weekend
- Provide 24-hour emergency cover during the summer operating period as part of a Head Office support rota
- Liaise with our centres in the summer regarding stock levels and replenishment
- Assist in the update of manuals and guidelines
What you’ll need to become our Operations and Programmes Coordinator:
You will have experience of working in a busy office or summer school environment. You will have excellent communication and administration skills. You will be able to organise a busy workload and work independently. Accuracy and attention to detail is key.
