As our reputation builds and demand for our services grows, we are extending our back-office function with the addition of a part time Operations Administrator, who will play an essential role supporting the Business & Finance Lead maintaining financial systems, recording, and processing financial information, data entry and general operational administration.

The Brief:

The focus of the role is to:

· Support all day-to-day business operations (e.g. timesheets, weekly customer reporting, basic financial processes and maintain confidential records)

· Establish an understanding of the needs of our customers and work as a part of the team to respond effectively

· Work collaboratively across the company providing support to other departments, as and when required

· Maintain excellent knowledge of the company’s operational policies and procedures and where needed assist in keeping these in line with company needs

· Support the Senior Leadership Team with diary management and complete ad-hoc tasks as and when required

To be successful, you'll need to:

· Be experienced in business administration (up-to-date training will be provided)

· Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite

· See the bigger picture and be able to work with the team to develop and improve the business

· Knowledge and a basic understanding of the finance package Xero is an advantage

And, you must be:

· An excellent communicator, demonstrate at all times exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

· Self-motivated and able to meet objectives with little or no direct supervision

· A detail-oriented and rigorous individual, have excellent attention to detail

· Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, able to work effectively under pressure.

· A team player, keen to share knowledge and willingly assist fellow team members.

This role is a mix of remote (e.g. working from home) and working in our Canterbury office (minimum of 1 day per week).

Rate:

£12.50/hour

· Bonus – company performance related bonus (at the Directors’ discretion) twice a year, May (half-year) and November (year-end).
