About the role
To ensure the relevant business systems are operational ensuring an efficient service to Ocado’s customers and clients, avoiding or minimising any impact to customers following system outages or incidents. To achieve this you will be managing warehouse incidents and tasks across multiple disciplines such as Engineering Operations, Technical Support Services and Business Operations. This will include identifying, raising and managing system faults in appropriate systems, prioritising bot recoveries and arranging recovery windows. You will investigate failed tasks and inaccessible stock and customer totes, resolving technical issues as part of the support services team
This role will require flexibility due to us being a 24/ 7 operation and a shift pattern will be in place that will require working days, nights and weekends.
About You
We would like to see a a good understanding of computing configurations, ITIL, infrastructure and the OSI model along with Google suite. The ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels to provide technical updates and engage with technical requests, a background in resolving technical incidents in hardware, software and networking. You will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written English, with knowledge of Japanese a bonus. Finally, being a strong team member, supporting and sharing knowledge amongst the team will be key to your success. This is an onsite based role and will take part in a team shift pattern to cover operations 24x7.
