The Waste Disposal team are responsible for the management of over 100,000 tonnes of household waste collected from our residents and other activities across the city. We have a vacancy for an Operational Support Officer to join our small team, tasked with working with residents to encourage waste minimisation and recycling in the city.

This is your opportunity to make a difference to the local community and environment.
Previous experience of general administration duties is essential, as is good computer literacy. If you have interest in this role and the relevant transferrable skills, we’d love to hear from you.
When applying, please use the supporting field on the application form to demonstrate to us how you meet each point in the person specification.
This is a permanent role. Job shares and secondments will be considered. We can offer some flexibility with working hours.

Please be aware that where there are staff within the organisation who are 'at risk' of redundancy, requirements to redeploy to another suitable role will apply and take priority.
