Role: Online Learning Tutor – Casual
Location: Home based
Salary: £80 per portfolio completion. £40 at half completion and £40 at full completion.
Contract: Temporary on a casual basis
Protocol is working on behalf of an established College in North Hertfordshire to recruit for Online Learning Tutors.
This role is on a casual basis working remotely and you will be the perfect candidate if:

· You have experience in the caseload management of portfolios and the ability to develop Tutors through your quality assurance practice
· You have a passion for your profession and share our determination to be outstanding.
You will be responsible for the quality assurance of learners’ work on a range on online distance learning courses.
Roles and responsibilities:
· Responsible for the quality assurance of online assessment and feedback to Tutors on a range of Level 2 courses ensuring consistently outstanding assessment, feedback and support.
· Ensure learner achievement is high through effective communication with Tutors to ensure quality provision and strong assessment practice
· Ensure assessment and feedback meets all awarding body standards and support learners to complete in a timely manner.
· Contribution to standardisation meetings quarterly.
Person specification:
- Understanding of Ofsted EIF, and ability to support delivery teams to develop towards outstanding
- Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy with high level of IT skills.
- TAQA qualifications e.g. A1
- Significant vocational experience in at least 4 of the below:
- Level 2 Certificate in Equality & Diversity
- Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service
- Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems
- Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business Administration
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour That Challenges
- Relevant teacher training qualification – PTTLS, DTLLS/Cert Ed (Desirable)
- Professional, accountable and responsible work ethics.
- Experience of teaching/training and assessment within a vocational context.
- Capable of utilising IT applications and interactive training tools.
