Bodyshop Supervisor
Salary £37,000 - £40,000

If the answer is yes to the above then we want to hear from you! Our Toyota Dealership in Gillingham is looking to recruit a new Bodyshop Supervisor.
About the position
Taking full Bodyshop leadership and management responsibility for this well-established centre, your key objective will be to drive the performance of the bodyshop department in order to ensure that excellent customer service is provided and all targets are achieved.
About our requirements
- Oversee all Bodyshop repair work for the centre.
- Experience in Vehicle Damage Assessment is essential to this role.
- Ensure that times are recorded as requested by the management.
- Carry out estimates on all incoming work in detail acceptable to manager.
- Negotiate with assessors and individuals to obtain the best price possible for every given estimate.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is used at all times.
- Maintain thorough and current product knowledge and read all Bodyshop Information bulletins as supplied by the retail centre.
- Assist in the training of Technicians as required.
- Present invoices for payment by customer, providing explanation of charges where required.
- Overall responsibility for the quality of work, including final Q.C. on all vehicles prior to handover.
- Render your services in a professional and competent manner in willing co-operation with others and at all times conform to the reasonable directions of your supervisor.
- Conduct your personal and professional life in a way which does not risk adversely affecting the Company's standing and reputation.
- Comply with the rules and procedures of any association or professional body to which the Company and/or you may from time to time belong.
- Ensure safe working practices are followed and the provisions of Health & Safety legislation are complied with.
- Recruit, train and develop staff as necessary. Follow all legal guidelines at candidate selection stage and ensure all successful candidates are aware of and are aligned with the Company’s core values.
