Delivery Driver
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items and quantities
- Maintain delivery logs and records
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with route driving and manual transmission vehicles
- Knowledge of courier operations and procedures is a plus
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate deliveries
Note: Experience with tractor-trailers is not required for this position.
