Job description
Our JD Sports Multichannel Team have an exciting opportunity! We are looking for a SEO Apprentice to maximise profitable traffic from the SEO marketing channels across JD. Managing onsite optimisation to deliver targeted traffic levels and improve efficiency from the channel.
- Job Title – SEO Apprentice
- Location – JD Sports Head Office, Bury, BL9 8RR
- Working hours – 40 Hours per week
What You'll Be Doing:
As a SEO Apprentice , you'll be doing the following:
- Work as part of our in-house SEO team to maximise performance from the channel to ensure that sales/spend targets are met.
- Ad-hoc data driven investigation and analysis on link acquisition, site performance, accessibility and site architecture.
- Creating inspiring digital campaigns to create an engaged blogger community and generate content that can be used across all channels. This will include collaboration with the Multi-Channel team to support business-wide initiatives.
- Researching and determining the appropriate enhancements and upgrades that are required to improve SEO performance and deliver the current and future needs of the business. Where appropriate, working with on-site and off-site departments and partners to deliver these requirements, managing the associated change process and ultimately the delivery of the required change.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent written communication.
- Experience using social media i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
- Ability to research the latest trends on social media.
- Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about digital marketing.
