We have an exciting opportunity to join a small team working from a busy and diverse rural office.
To perform general administrative duties and provide support to team members and Director as required. You will be expected to give administrative support across all areas of business run from the Estate Office.
Duties include but are not limited to:
General:
- Project archiving;
- Cash handling
- Admin for Farming; Forestry; Property Management; Fishing; Shooting etc
·Accounts:
- Payment of invoices;
- Bank reconciliations;
- Creating & issuing invoices to external customers;
- Budget administration;
- Debt collection
- Experience on Xero Book-keeping software would be an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Organising of vehicle maintenance, insurance etc and upkeep of records;
- Placing orders with suppliers;
- Maintain worklist for maintenance team;
- Liaise with external contractors to book in essential works
- Assist with Annual insurance review and renewal
Person Specification
- Flexible, highly motivated and able to work using their own initiative
- Must be a team player
- Positive attitude and with the ability to learn and adapt
- Mature and professional approach to work – someone who will take responsibility
- Someone who will “own it” and suggest improvements
- Hold a good level of maths and high quality of written English
- Highly IT literate and ideally experience of Word, Excel and other Microsoft packages
- Knowledge or previous experience of a farming, forestry or property management would be an advantage but not essential
Specifics
- 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday
- Must have full clean driving licence and own vehicle as office is set in a rural location.

Salary: From £28,000.00 per year
