Active Surface Technology are a small and friendly business based in Henton, near Chinnor, and we require a part-time Office Administrator/PA to be responsible for a variety of tasks. Initially, this will be for 1 - 2 days per week and we can offer some flexibility in terms of days and hours. The role would ideally suit someone who's self-employed. Because we're based quite rurally, you'll need your own transport.
Our ideal candidate will have great all-round experience of working with and organising a busy MD and you'll be able to turn your hand to duties ranging from the basics of opening the mail and keeping the filing systems well maintained, to liaising with current and potential customers and suppliers in a confident manner by telephone and email, invoicing and occasional travel itinerary planning. You'll be a good team player with a sense of humour and you'll be a self starter who's able to work on your initiative in keeping the office (and those in it!) running efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and if you possess knowledge of Xero (or similar accounting packages) that's a definite bonus.
The role is available immediately, however we'll happily wait for the right person because personality fit is just as important as ability!
