Job description
We are have an exciting new vacancy to join our HR team, preferably based in the North to support our Operations teams, this is a remote role with the requirement to travel to services as required. It is a fantastic time to join our expanding team, reporting into the Head of HR with a strong working relationship with the Regional Senior Management Team. You will implement the HR strategy for the region with particular focus on retention, wellbeing, colleague engagement, talent and performance management and manage a Regional HR Advisor who focuses on employee relations.
What will you do?
- Lead on projects to drive colleague engagement and retention across the region and division including championing the Active Colleague Engagement Forum, colleague engagement surveys and other initiatives.
- Key member of the Regional SMT, acting as a supporter, trusted advisor and challenger.
- Analyse data and use to inform and drive local service, regional and divisional initiatives in improving processes, retention and engagement.
- Build a close relationship with the regional resourcing team to ensure understanding and awareness of recruitment challenges and initiatives in the region.
- Provide guidance to Regional HR Advisor and SMTs on complex employee relations cases
- Attendance at regional business reviews, monthly Senior Management team meetings and other meetings as required
- Provide advice, guidance and specialist input on change management initiatives including organisational restructures, mergers and acquisitions, TUPE transfers and contract & tender bids
- Support the effective induction, coaching, training and development of service leaders
- Be the communication ambassador for your region and cascade key initiatives
- Lead, manage and develop the Regional HR Advisor.
What are we looking for?
You will have proven experience in a Business Partner role within a multi-service organisation, providing advice and support remotely. You must be passionate about driving positive change and continuous improvement within the wider teams. Ideally, you will have CIPD level 5 or 7 or equivalent demonstratable experience.
