Job description
Due to the current post holders planned retirement, we have a great opportunity for a highly competent Occupational Therapist to take on the role of clinical lead. The Occupational Therapy service deliver interventions to service users within two locality based mental health teams ( based in Rayleigh and Canvey Island), as clinical lead you will work alongside the wider multidisciplinary team membership in shaping and delivering services to service users with complex care mental health needs.
The Occupational Therapy clinical lead will, in collaboration with the wider MDT, identify those service users with an occupational need, and guide the Occupational Therapy provision to establish and deliver appropriate evidence-based interventions to support the service users recovery. The clinical lead will develop the team, with guidance from the AHP leadership team, reflecting the transformation within mental health delivery.
The Occupational Therapy service is supported within the Trust by the AHP leadership, offering professional support and supervision and access to relevant clinical and leadership training.
